The east branch is via Ashburton and SH1, the west is by Thompsons Track. The two routes join at Rakaia at the northern end and Orari Bridge (near Geraldine) at the other end.

The above maps were generated from data captured in kismet, then plotted with gpsmap. The tracks were then aligned over an orthophoto of Christchurch using Photoshop. Updates will be done periodically.
